This past week we have concentrated on article writing and how articles can drive traffic to your website. Article marketing is one of the best internet marketing techniques you can put to work for free. Today we will discuss getting your articles out there. You can write till your fingers bleed but if no one is reading them what difference does it make! So, what now? You’ve just finished this great article and you’re not sure what to do with it.

First, put it away! That’s right, sit on that great article for at least 2 days then read it again OUT LOUD. Does it make sense? Are there any mis-spellings or bad grammar? Now is the time to make corrections and possibly add to or take away from your article. You want your article to be shiny, new, and spotless. It is probably your chance at a first impression.

O.K. you’ve done everything just right so far but your article is still not working for you yet. So if your completely happy with your articles title and body then you need to write a good summary and resource box. The summary should be 3 to 6 sentences that covers the basics of your article. The resource box should be the same in length with information about you and your website. Include up to 2 links only in your resource box.

Article submission sites are all a little different in the way they handle your article so you will want the ability to exclude a sentence here and there in your summary and resource box. This will depend on allowable space and their own requirements.

You will need to register at these article submission sites and some of them will require you to confirm your email account. That’s O.K., if they are asking it just means that they are actually verifying information to ensure accuracy. Most of the GOOD submission sites will require that your article be approved by a human editor before it is accepted. I personally prefer these article submission sites as I believe they have more original content.

My top pick of all time for article submission is EzineArticles. These guys are top notch and professional is an understatement. I always submit to them FIRST then after they accept the article I will submit the same article to other directories. I like these guys so much because they are all over google and very professional. Below you will find 4 more sites I am using to submit articles to. While there are hundreds (maybe thousands) of sites you can submit to I am a little short on time so I only concentrate on a few. A simple google search will lead you to all the article submission sites you will never have time for.

This will get you started with your article submissions. It should be something you make a habit of. I strongly suggest that you submit at least 2 articles a week. It may take a month or two for your articles to take off but once it starts you cannot stop it.
