Niche Marketing with Yahoo…cont.

This article is a continuation of Niche Marketing with Yahoo. You may want to read that article quickly to figure out where we left off. So to continue I will start with the last paragraph

So let’s say you’ve discovered a problem that you can fix and you have the knowledge to write an ebook on the subject. So you get to the tasks at hand which will include writing your pdf, building your sales page, buying your domain name (optional), write and distribute 4 or 5 article “teasers” that you can send people to.

You will then need to distribute your articles. I use EzineArticles and GoArticles for my two primary but it is certainly a matter of choice. This should all be done in a matter of days (2 or 3 at best). So after you have that all done it will be time to start your marketing (answering questions).

Head on back to Yahoo Answers and log in. Create a new account if you don’t have one. Now just go back to the category that you had chosen for your niche product and scroll through the questions until you find someone with your “problem”. Start answering…it is just that easy.

Here are some tips to help you get the most from your efforts;

  • Send them to your articles (not your sales page) as if you had found them (not authored them). Let them sell themselves.
  • You don’t have to create a product if you can find one at a site with an affiliate program
  • Use sympathy to gain their trust…”I know what your going through”, “I feel your pain”
  • USE A DIFFERENT SCREEN NAME THAN YOU WOULD NORMALLY IF YOU ARE TRYING TO BE A “NORMAL” PERSON AND NOT A MARKETER.
  • Remember people don’t like to be sold to, they like to sell themselves.

So there you go a short but sweet article to help you find some small yet powerful markets to suck the wallets dry of your prospective customers. Just try very hard to provide a true solution to their problems so that they will continue to buy products online. Nobody likes to get scammed and they will spread the word quickly.

Thanx and remember…Always strive to improve and success will follow
