As a webmaster and blogger I am constantly looking for tools that help me automate the steps I go through in my daily tasks. Automating time consuming processes is one of the things that makes an online business superior to a brick and mortar business. In my quest for these types of tools I have found one that I believe will help other WordPress bloggers get more from their posts.

This is a social bookmarking plugin that will submit your new posts to a 5 gallon bucketful of sites. It actually takes two plugins to automate the process and you will have to ‘finalize’ your post for some of the sites, but this is a true time saver overall.

I have used several social bookmarking plugins over the last year on this site and I think this is the best of the best so far. Of course the best part is the automation of the entire process. These two plugins work together to eliminate several steps in the process of submitting your links to multiple bookmarking sites.

Another feature I like about this is the fact that you can discard all of those little individual icons at the bottom of your post and replace them with a single button. I think this looks more professional to my visitors while still providing the opportunity for them to share my posts if they choose to.

The service I am referring to is OnlyWire and they will auto-submit your posts to over 25 sites including the ‘important’ ones such as, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Google Bookmarks, Digg, Stumbleupon and many more. This service has proven to be very effective at what they do and it is almost completely automatic.

If you want a fast and easy way to create some quality backlinks while keeping your friends and followers updated then this service is what you are looking for. After you sign up you will need to install and activate the plugin for the button to show up on your posts. You will also have to configure the sites you want to autosubmit to by providing your login information. No big deal, it takes about 30 minutes to get set up.

The other plugin I use will autosubmit my new posts to OnlyWire. This saves me even more time since the whole process looks like this…I post a new article which gets autosubmitted to OnlyWire…OnlyWire then autosubmits my new post to the bookmarking sites I have set up in my account…I visit OnlyWire and finalize any sites that require it.

That is it. It takes me about 10 minutes per new article to submit to the sites I have set up in my account. This is great for me as I do not have much free time on my hands and I am sure you do not either. So get yourself on over to http://www.onlywire.com and sign up for an account, set up your bookmarking sites, and download the plugin.

Then visit http://www.lionstarr.de/onlywire-autosubmit-a-wordpress-plugin.html and download this plugin which uses the OnlyWire API to autosubmit your posts to OnlyWire. Once you have both plugins installed and your services configured at OnlyWire you are all set.
