In my search for online tools that deliver the goods I am happy to report on yet another fine discovery. This site has more tools than I can break down in one article so I am not even going to try. This site has it all! I wish I had the necessary skills to create some of these tools for this site. Maybe someday. I do have a small set of webmaster tools that I am planning on publishing this month. Be on the lookout.

Back to the article and this wonderful website with all of the free tools a webmaster could wish for. Of course this is another FREE resource for like minded webmasters. When it comes to getting things done time is of the essence and in short supply. When you can find a multitude of tools in one place it sure makes life online a little easier.

I will touch on just two tools and provide a short list but you will have to visit them to see everything available. This site is definitely a resource with an Alexa ranking of 7,894 at the time of this writing. As I said all of these tools are free of charge however you must fill out a captcha to use them UNLESS you register on their site. Being a member and logged in also gives you more information when you use these tools so I recommend registering and confirming.

So the first tool I will discuss is a Google PageRank Datacenter checker. This tool will check any url for the most up to date pagerank in several different Google datacenters. If you are not logged in to the site they will check ten datacenters for the most up to date pagerank. If you ARE logged in you will get results from fifty datacenters which will give you the skinny on exactly where your site is from Googles point of view.

This is useful info if you sell advertising on your site or are currently in the middle of a link building campaign. Other than that pagerank is something webmasters like to obsess over with no real reason why. If you are getting good search engine rankings then your pagerank will reflect that. I prefer rankings over pagerank anyday.

Another very important tool they have is an XML sitemap creator. This is very important to all 3 major search engines and greatly increases your chances of being indexed. Search engine traffic is free and targeted so it just does not get better than that. If you do not have an XML sitemap then now you do not have any excuses, so get over there and get your sitemap built then sublit it to the search engines.
